Please Remember this family. Baby Clayton was trapped in the car and the 18 wheeler caught on fire and the mother couldn't get him out. He died from smoke inhalation. And one of the firefighters received 3rd degree burns getting Clayton out of the fire... Pray for his Mother Penny who was driving and is inconsolable.

Funeral services for Clayton Glen Sweat will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in the Occupy #1 Baptist Church in Pitkin. The services will be conducted by Bros. Brett Edwards, Brad Perkins and Sherman Busby. Committal services will immediately follow in the Occupy #1 Cemetery under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.Clayton Glen Sweat, 2 ½ years old, went home to be with our Lord, Saturday, July 12, 2008 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Baytown, Texas. His smile, laughter and loving spirit profoundly impacted all who knew him, which will remain far longer than his short life. His great grandfathers, Woodrow James, Erby Thompson, Sr., Ralph James Sellers and great-grand-mother, Rowe Emma Sellers precedes him in death.Left to grieve this family's loss are, mother and father, Penny Thompson Sweat and J. Casey Sweat of LaVernia, Texas; one sister, Cassidy Jade Sweat of LaVernia, Texas; maternal grandparents, Rickey and Wanda Thompson of Elizabeth; paternal grandmother, Jane Sellers Sweat of DeRidder; paternal grandfather and step grandmother, Joe and Bonnie Sweat of Floresville, Texas; aunts, Peggy Thompson West and husband Calvin of Brookland, Texas, Jenifer Sweat of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Kelsey Thompson of Lake Charles and Brittany Sweat of DeRidder; uncle, Justin Thompson and wife Mindy of Hineston, paternal great-grandparents, BillBo and Wilma Sweat of Pitkin; maternal great - grandmothers, Audie James and Madeline Thompson; seven first cousins. Pallbearers to serve will be Randy Pollard, Jacob Thompson, Ross Johnson, Matt Smith, Benson Thompson and Kamron Naranjo.Clayton will be brought to Occupy #1 Tuesday, July 15, 2008 at 4 p.m. for friends and relatives to offer condolences.
